| Linking
with Texas Tourism means you are linking to a trusted leader in the
Texas travel industry. The business took shape when the owners of
the highly successful website, Heart of SanAntonio, realized that
San Antonio needed a travel website for the millions of visitors coming
to enjoy the Alamo and the world famous San Antonio Riverwalk. For
the past five years, Texas Tourism has been helping people from around
the world realize their dreams of a fun-filled, memorable visit to
San Antonio.
Texas Tourism offers two options for affiliates: the Discount Plan; and, the Commission Plan. The Discount Plan is designed for travel agents, clubs, groups and businesses with memberships. Under this plan, affiliate's members access the Texas Tourism website directly, entering a password code to receive discounted rates on our Packages. The Commission Plan is designed as a passive link to the Texas Tourism website where each vacation package sold through a link from your site earns a 5% commission, paid monthly. Please see our FAQ's for more information on our plans. To begin your affiliate program with Texas Tourism, fill out the form below. We will fax an agreement to you to sign and fax back. Once your application is approved, you will be issued an authorization code if you register for the Discount Plan. For those on the Commission Plan, we will issue a logo and a link to put on your site for tracking purposes. We'll also ask for your logo and URL so we can list you on our site as an official Texas Tourism affiliate. There is no fee to apply, so don't hesitate. We look forward to hearing from you soon! |

| Q. How does Texas Tourism affiliate program work? | |||||||||
| A. We have 2 programs, a Discount Program where affiliates use their personal identification number, or PIN, to receive an immediate 5% discount on their package orders, and a Commission Program where affiliates receive a 5% percent commission for packages ordered by visitors from their site. | |||||||||

| Q. Who can become an affiliate? | |||||||||
|
A. For the Commission program, you must have a website, preferably one that relates to the travel industry and/or San Antonio, Texas. We are interested in site owners who are interested in making a passive income while helping us sell our travel packages. The site must be fully functioning, aesthetically pleasing, business related (not personal) and does not display or link to offensive or pornographic material. We reserve the right to deny our program to websites with content that, in our opinion, advocates pornography, violence, racial prejudice, or hate crimes of any nature. For the Discount program, any legitimate club, organization or company with ten or more employees can participate. Your members/employees will use your PIN to receive an additional 5% discount on their packages. |

| Q. What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate? | |||||||||
| A. You are responsible for setting up the links to Texas Tourism's home page (as many as you'd like) on your Web site and directing your audience to visit our site. Texas Tourism's webmaster will provide Commission affiliates with the coding and the logo graphics for their site. Please note that the Texas Tourism logo should not be altered in any way. Several styles and sizes are available to choose from. | |||||||||

| A. We'll take care of the orders, make reservations, handle the billing, customer service and everything else related to the purchase experience. Our Customer Service Associates are always available, so be assured anyone you send to Texas Tourism will receive the highest level of service. | |||||||||

| Q. How do I receive my commission? | |||||||||
| A. Commissions are paid on a monthly basis or when the amount exceeds $50. We will mail a check at the end of the month to the billing address you provide. | |||||||||

| A. After your application is approved, we will provide you with a Username and Password. You can login anytime to check your commission status real time. | |||||||||

| Q. How do I get started? | |||||||||
| A. Fill out our affiliate form. It takes about 2 weeks to process your application. Depending upon the program you select, we'll send you the code and logo for your site or the PIN for your group. In either case, if you provide us with your logo and URL we'll list you as an official Texas Tourism affiliate. | |||||||||
